I have been using Tasks for Canvas for years and I enjoyed the layout of it and how I could easily see all my upcoming assignments on the side of my home page. However, now that it has been moved to BetterCampus the layout is just all wrong and looks way worse and it's so much more confusing and overwhelming to navigate. Why do all good things need to be ruined??? And Jake Silver I don't want you replying to this comment unless you plan on switching Tasks to how it used to be
I've been using this extension since 2022, so it makes me sad to see it fail so badly and so suddenly. I had a 510 streak going on, and since they moved over to BetterCampus it was reset back to 0, I then sent them a message via their discord server to which their reply was to send an email. I did as I was told and I haven't gotten my streak back and I'm sure this is the case for many other users as well. Other than that, I am confused by how messy the UI is now, the themes aren't working correctly and makes the actual courses hard to read because of the eyesore of an overlay. Although the tools are useful for students, adding them all at once was a mistake and should be worked on a little more. The devs behind this extension should really consider what everyone is saying in their recent reviews and retrace their steps back to where it was still good and do better from there.
Seeing my streak was one of my favorite parts of canvas.. was top like 1%(or3%) i think with a streak of hundreds of days.. just for it all to be gone due to better campus. Basically my streak reset back to day 1, and now I do not see the point of having this because the update is just overstimulating.
Wish I could use this with bettercampus.

Loved this extension until the right side disappeared which showed the assignments and streak. I also have BetterCampus, but don't like their way of showing assignments coming up. I liked when I could just open up Canvas and see what I need to know and prepare for, on the right side of my screen.
I love Tasks for Canvas and Better Campus and use both frequently; however, recently the Tasks for Canvas ring isn't popping up on the right-hand side as usual. I use this extension to keep track of all my assignments, and I'm now a bit tense about potentially missing something. I think this may be due to the new dashboard view that Canvas recently came out with, but I have my view set to the old dashboard still and am a bit unsure. Please fix this as soon as possible!
I love this extension as it really allowed me to be more motivated in school, but the merging of tasks for canvas into better campus reset my 600+ day streak and it doesn't even show me the tasks that I have due in the ring. For example, when I have it turned on it says that I have no tasks but when I turn it off all of my assignments that are due in the month show up. Please fix this issue as it doesn't help organize my assignments so I have it turned off in the settings. I would love to use it was easier to view what tasks I have due at a glance.

i did not know how much i needed to see my task streak until i did. this is the best extension ever, its minimal and easy to use and not too flashy. It is just right and I recently found out that you can change the color of the streak flame as your streak grows.

I use brightspace and it wont let me change the card colors or customize what color I want each class to be. Two of my classes are the same color which is confusing.
I lost my 200+ day streak due to canvas being hacked and not going to lie, I am a bit mad about it. Was a little boost to keep going.
I had a streak of 356 and had to re download tasks for canvas and it got rid of my streak even though I didn't miss any assignments.

Would absolutely recommend. I love seeing all of my assignments that I have to complete for the week and leaves less strain on myself to remember everything. The streak is a nice goofy way of keeping up with your assignments.
