bring it back. Better Campus does NOT work for blackboard
It's honestly a really great extension, but joining BetterCanvas made me delete it. If they ever decide to separate, I'd totally come back.
Doesn't work anymore. "Simple Canvas Tasks" is the replacement I use now. It's super lightweight and non invasive
Doesn't work anymore! I have used this app for like 6 year and its completely broken now. very disappointed.
bring it back on blackboard, why change it in the first place?
Bring it back
I used to use for canvas and now for blackboard but since the update i can no longer use this. I loved using my rings to help me stay on top of my school work but now it does not work. very sad please fix it:(
It used to work for Blackboard but now it is no longer showing the circle task bar on the side that I enjoy having for my assignments. It is now telling me to download BetterCampus but that does not work well on Blackboard and with it the rings won't show up.
i loved tasks for canvas with all my heart, the to do list circle was amazing and it helped me stay on track. better canvas sucks, it messes up my screen on blackboard, the search bar sucks and is useless, and it got rid of the only thing that tasks for canvas had.
Really upset about the swap to BetterCanvas. The new extension is much less managable, and it's difficult to work with, I just would like my old progress bar.
I have been using Tasks for Canvas for years and I enjoyed the layout of it and how I could easily see all my upcoming assignments on the side of my home page. However, now that it has been moved to BetterCampus the layout is just all wrong and looks way worse and it's so much more confusing and overwhelming to navigate. Why do all good things need to be ruined??? And Jake Silver I don't want you replying to this comment unless you plan on switching Tasks to how it used to be
I've been using this extension since 2022, so it makes me sad to see it fail so badly and so suddenly. I had a 510 streak going on, and since they moved over to BetterCampus it was reset back to 0, I then sent them a message via their discord server to which their reply was to send an email. I did as I was told and I haven't gotten my streak back and I'm sure this is the case for many other users as well. Other than that, I am confused by how messy the UI is now, the themes aren't working correctly and makes the actual courses hard to read because of the eyesore of an overlay. Although the tools are useful for students, adding them all at once was a mistake and should be worked on a little more. The devs behind this extension should really consider what everyone is saying in their recent reviews and retrace their steps back to where it was still good and do better from there.
Seeing my streak was one of my favorite parts of canvas.. was top like 1%(or3%) i think with a streak of hundreds of days.. just for it all to be gone due to better campus. Basically my streak reset back to day 1, and now I do not see the point of having this because the update is just overstimulating.
Wish I could use this with bettercampus.
DOES NOT WORK It was amazing... until the morons at bettercampus shut it down to force you to use their bloated, useless extension
I love this extension, however, not all of my classes are appearing. I cannot find a help section to fix this.
Loved this extension until the right side disappeared which showed the assignments and streak. I also have BetterCampus, but don't like their way of showing assignments coming up. I liked when I could just open up Canvas and see what I need to know and prepare for, on the right side of my screen.
I love Tasks for Canvas and Better Campus and use both frequently; however, recently the Tasks for Canvas ring isn't popping up on the right-hand side as usual. I use this extension to keep track of all my assignments, and I'm now a bit tense about potentially missing something. I think this may be due to the new dashboard view that Canvas recently came out with, but I have my view set to the old dashboard still and am a bit unsure. Please fix this as soon as possible!
I love this extension as it really allowed me to be more motivated in school, but the merging of tasks for canvas into better campus reset my 600+ day streak and it doesn't even show me the tasks that I have due in the ring. For example, when I have it turned on it says that I have no tasks but when I turn it off all of my assignments that are due in the month show up. Please fix this issue as it doesn't help organize my assignments so I have it turned off in the settings. I would love to use it was easier to view what tasks I have due at a glance.
fire
magna cum laude thx to this
The streaks are one of the only reasons I even actually manage to keep motivation through the semester!
I just hit a year without missing an assignment! Great extension!
Literally reset my 400 day+ streak. Screw this app.
i did not know how much i needed to see my task streak until i did. this is the best extension ever, its minimal and easy to use and not too flashy. It is just right and I recently found out that you can change the color of the streak flame as your streak grows.
love this extension!
MY STREAKKKK ITS GONE IT WAS AT 97 9777777 BRO I HATE THIS APP I FINISHED MT WORKKKK THIS APP SUCKSS
I use brightspace and it wont let me change the card colors or customize what color I want each class to be. Two of my classes are the same color which is confusing.
I lost my 200+ day streak due to canvas being hacked and not going to lie, I am a bit mad about it. Was a little boost to keep going.
I had a streak of 356 and had to re download tasks for canvas and it got rid of my streak even though I didn't miss any assignments.
